The use of airships for advertising has been well established and for many years they have been influential in the field of marketing using lighter-than-air aircraft to improve brand awareness.
But the need for a lightweight transportable airship that can be used effectively during a crucial publicity campaign has led to the developement of the hot-air airship. These airships, at over 40 metres in length, are a non-pressurised structure made from light yet resistant synthetic fabric which is kept airborne by the use of balloon style burners running on propane gas and flown by an experienced qualified pilot.
